K’ Alexi Shelby is a prominent figure in electronic music with a career spanning decades. The cultivation of his massive music catalogue has overflowed into albums and the three labels he heads. It’s also led to legendary collaborations with artists like The Pet Shop Boys, Robert Owens, Kenny Dixon, Roy Davis Jr., Joe Smooth, Steve Silke Hurley, Tyree Cooper, Ron Trent, Glenn Underground, Larry Heard, DJ Pierre, Carl Craig, Felix da Housecat, Marshall Jefferson and more. He makes a welcome return to COD3 QR with the jazzy house of opening track, “House Music de Chicago”. Voltaire has built his career through passion and a perfectionist approach to music, creating a richly emotional eclecticism, with inspiration from the pioneers of Detroit to the glorious electro decades of the 2000s and 2010s. Today he’s a COD3 QR regular and released his debut album, “Echoes” on the label last year. He leans into the realms of house with a deep techy edge, for new track “Some House”. As Finder he goes in a new direction with “Team Dream”. Benny Rodrigues a.k.a. ROD’s other moniker, The Lost Souldancer has already seen him drop “No More Voices” and “Life and Death” for the label. In his own words, Benny says: “The Lost Souldancer is about coping with the loss of what once was. Finding comfort in the invisible rather than what can be seen.
