Unknown Artist — District 10 Edits Vol.2

After a first volume loudly played by respected names across the scene such as Jane Fitz, Magda, or Jonny Rock, District 10 comes back with a second volume.

A strictly vinyl-only 12”, featuring three elusive cuts from an Unknown Artist only some will recognize.

On the A side, a forgotten, obscure French track gets a new treatment, built for peak-time dancefloor business. Electribe movement, echoey voices, and rolling drums get you going.

A2 slows the pace, a post-punk relic stripped down and twisted into breaks. The bassline is dangerous, almost menacing, while a thread of acid sneaks in as the Unknown duo’s signature touch.

Closing out the record, B2 opens onto another space and time: an after-hour plea for the night to keep going. Both euphoric and wistful, it leaves the dancefloor to decide how it wants to move.
