Optical Desillusions is a record label founded in collaboration with Pierre Marty, born from a shared desire to explore distinctive musical territories and promote an open vision of contemporary electronic music creation. Its visual identity is embodied by a logo designed by Paul Tellimerg, also known as DJ Immortal, whose graphic work complements the aesthetic and spirit of the project.

The label draws part of its inspiration from the legacy of Detroit music, not as a direct or restrictive reference, but rather as a conceptual starting point. This influence can be felt through a particular attention to the depth of textures, the sometimes futuristic dimension of sound, and an approach to the machine as a tool for artistic expression.

However, Optical Desillusions is not confined to any specific genre. Its mission is to explore a broad spectrum of musical forms and embrace works shaped by diverse influences. The catalogue may therefore bring together club- and dancefloor-oriented productions alongside more experimental, contemplative, or hybrid works, such as the remix by Matthias Cheval, aka Mmmh, which encourages aesthetic crossovers, contrasts, and dialogues between different sonic sensibilities.

Through this approach, the label seeks to highlight music that shares a common artistic rigor and a spirit of exploration, while giving artists considerable freedom in their creative processes.
