Palorim
Kendama is back with a new split EP, bringing together two distinct artistic voices in a dialogue between introspection and dancefloor experimentation. With Namur on Side A and Palorim on B Side, the record unfolds as a conversation between complementary approaches to club music.
Namur opens the journey with two immersive productions, setting a deep and hypnotic tone. “The Assistant” draws listeners into a fluid, introspective trip driven by subtle movement and tension, while the second track expands this hypnotic framework into warmer and more tropical vibe, naturally guiding the energy toward the dancefloor.
On Side B, Palorim responds with a playful and uncompromising approach. “Mount Rhodes” blends mischievous rhythms with elegant jazz-inflected touches, carried by unmistakable Rhodes melodies, before “Slap That Bass” closes the EP with a bold twist — a singular, bass-driven cut built to fully ignite the floor.
A contrasted yet cohesive exchange, reflecting Kendama’s ongoing taste for singular and forward-thinking club music.
