Written and produced between the serenity of the Swiss Alps and the sunny Andalusian coast, the album reflects the contrasts of Maulini’s musical spectrum. Warm analog textures intertwine with crisp minimal percussion, while soft pads, dusty samples, and delicate melodies evoke both nostalgia and hope. Each track unfolds like a diary entry, intimate and reflective yet driven by a subtle club energy that keeps the pulse alive.

Collaborations with Abri & The Dreamfleet, Empty Pocket & The Flair open the spectrum even further, bringing soulful vocal layers and organic instrumentation that contrast beautifully with the record’s more meditative instrumentals. Together, they craft a sonic landscape where jazz influences, field recordings, and house music sensibility coexist in perfect balance.

Neither house nor ambient nor traditional blues, My Kind of Blues resists classification. It’s an autobiographical soundscape — a personal journey through sound, memory, and mood.
