Two years after the acclaimed Crash Recoil, Anthony Child aka Surgeon returns to Tresor with Shell~Wave. This LP is a personal document converging three decades of experience with curiosity in the untested. Featuring tracks like Infinite Eye and Soul Fire, the album comprises single-take explorations of hard yet minimal techno. Dying acts as the emotional centerpiece with a vibrating, beatless piece. Reverberating effects and dub echoes pervade tracks like Divine Shadow and Empty Cloud, showcasing a shift in equipment and approach.
