Recollections III–IV

In 2018, Rezo Glonti began collecting LPs of Soviet-era Georgian composers found at Tbilisi’s ‘Dry Bridge’ flea market, largely classical and chamber music from Melodiya, the USSR’s state label. Recollection III-IV represents the second piece in a series of 7” records crafted from these archives. Dmytro Nikolaienko’s artwork evokes Soviet record aesthetics, complementing Glonti’s intent to showcase an album incorporating samples from his burgeoning collection.
