“Flat Beat” is an instrumental piece by French house musician Mr. Oizo. Released on 22 March 1999, it was included as a bonus track on his debut studio album, Analog Worms Attack. A music video featuring Flat Eric, a puppet, helped promote the track, which was used in Levi’s commercials. The track was very successful, reaching number five on the French Singles Chart and topping the charts in countries like Austria, Finland, Germany, Italy, and the UK. It is one of only twenty-five instrumental singles to top the UK charts.
