After the great success of Jon Dixon’s phenomenal Paradise Valley EP, No Speakers welcomes DJ Honesty and Arkajo into the fold with Honesty’s stunning Unknown Pleasures EP.
A regular on highly respected labels such as Bass Culture, Scenario and Cabinet, he brings that same level of class and 360 degree musical knowledge to this release. From the haunting title track Unknown Pleasures to the dubbed out Gomma Natural and the bruk up bass of Noneties, he effortlessly merges bass music, broken beat and dub techno across three outstanding tracks.
If that wasn’t enough, and because we love you, we’ve brought Arkajo in to remix Unknown Pleasures. As huge fans of his self titled Arkajo label and his work as one half of the infamous Genius of Time, we knew this would be a great combination, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. Using the haunting, otherworldly elements and energy of the original, he has crafted a peak time roller that takes this release deep into the Pleasure Zone.
