Alexander — Friendship is the message

This is the first vinyl release of Alexander, a multi-disciplinary artist from Berlin. The EP is released on his own label “A Constant Music”, which aims at exploring psychedelic sound design which interplay with quirky, non-conventional grooves. Alexander has been producing music for several years and this vinyl release complements his digital only releases which can be found on his Bandcamp.

This EP in particular is an ode to friendship. It pays tribute to hazy warm memories of nights and mornings spent with friends at afters well past bedtime. Psychedelic sounds envelope the music, providing the red line for the story which rests on deep polyrhythmic basslines and left field drum breaks / percussions, combined with warm harmonies. This EP aims at evoking those warm feelings you have from that party/after which you just can’t stop thinking about, but which you also only half-remember. Half-memories of time spent with friends which put a smile on your face and which today only live on as hazy impressions in your mind.
