EIGHTBALL RECORDS

EIGHTBALL RECORDS
USEightball Records was a vinyl store that started in the early 90's. Soon it launched the label that quickly generated a lot of buzz around their releases from the likes of Joi Cardwell & Mood II Swing, pioneering the classic New York garage sound.
Around the end of the 90's Eightball started to release a darker tribal house sound influenced by the Tenaglia/Vasquez era that was going on and moved into a new era of New York sound.
As of 2013 they have re-emerged on the digital market. In 2014 several re-releses of the old catalogue were issued in all major digital stores. First 2014 remix was 'Serving' O-vahness' remix of Tim Rex - Relentless, a NYC tribal classic followed by Debbie Harry - Command & Obey with mixes by 'Serving' O-vahness' and former Thunderpuss's Barry Harris. The remixes of the old catalogue continued in 2016 with Brian Serving Ovahness remix of Lectroluv "Dominator" and Cajjmere Wray "The Girl!"Fired Up".
