Born May 17 1958, died December 17, 2023.\r\n\r\nHaving studied jazz in school and with Harold McKinney while growing up in Detroit, Joseph \"Amp\" Fiddler began his career in popular music when he went on tour with the group Enchantment. Later, in the mid 80's, after joining George Clinton & Parliament\/Funkadelic, he toured worldwide with the group and extensively worked as keyboard player and co-producer in studio recordings.\r\nHe also performed with Jamiroquai, The Brand New Heavies, Prince, Seal and Maxwell.
