Placid aka Paul Wise is the leading light behind \u2018We\u2019re Going Deep\u2019 \u2013 an online community and record label, born out of a lifelong affair with the many shades of electronic rhythm and an obsession for collecting records since 1988.<\/p>\n
Known to many in underground House and Techno circles, he\u2019s spent the last few decades moving heads and feet at select venues, parties and fields around the UK, as well as overseas. His mission is all about sharing and releasing new music: serving up the best in Acid, Electro, Techno and Deep House for the dance floor, front room or even just your headphones. For the label\u2019s 3rd \u201cSolo Series\u201d edition \u2013 Paul is delighted to welcome the talents and tantalising touch of one of the UK\u2019s finest doyens of deep: \u2018D5\u2019. Starting the dance in style, A1 \u2018Red Analysis\u2019 dives headfirst with Electro-tinged sensibilities \u2013 yet steers a course pushing a shiny bleep and bass led groove which simply keeps on building. As layer upon layer of melodic elements find their place amongst the space, the powerful pulse of a 909 propels you forward to reach a majestic climax. \nHit the flip to B1 \u2018Black Analysis\u2019 and you\u2019re led deeper into a dream like state. As stabs pulsate outwardly into the unknown, woozy chords evolve from their core to envelop your consciousness. The broken beat of drums sway gently back and fore, inducing a blissful level of serenity that is nothing short of magic.
