\nJuly, comprised of four originals from the Swedish artist.<\/p>\n
Across the past decade, Dan Vicente aka Acronym has been unveiling his
\ntwist on murky, hypnotic Techno via the likes of Semantica Records,
\nNorthern Electronics, and of course, his own Stilla Ton imprint,
\nshowcasing a more esoteric and experimental approach to the genre and
\nsteadily rising to prominence as a driving force for the Swedish
\nTechno scene. Here we see him joining the roster of Benthic following
\nits inaugural release back in September 2021 from Lucid Void.<\/p>\n
Title-track \u2018Millennial Lowlife\u2019 opens up the project and perfectly
\nsets the tone with subtly unfurling atmospherics, gnarly bass stabs,
\nand modulating synths atop a low-slung, driving rhythm. \u2018Albanova\u2019
\nthen tips the focus over to an ambient tip, merging metallic arpeggio
\nchimes with pulsating dub swells and tension-building textures.<\/p>\n
\u2018Vertical Garden\u2019 opens the flip side and leans towards a more
\nelectro-tinged aesthetic courtesy of squelchy acid bleeps, crunchy
\ndrums, and ethereal pads before \u2018Flashing LED\u2019 rounds out the release,
\nonce again returning to an ambient feel with cinematic strings,
