Best-known for signing [a=The Future Sound Of London] and publishing their earliest works before the seminal duo got a major record deal with [l=Virgin]. After the band's debut solo releases, [i][m=6424][\/i] 12\" EP (12 TOT 17) and [i][m=6395][\/i] CD\/LP\/MC (## TOT 2) in 1991, Jumpin' & Pumpin' quickly rose to fame. (The second 'Accelerator' single, [i][m=6470][\/i] 12\"\/CDEP, came out in '94). Other notable early [b]J' & P'[\/b] releases include [a8607]'s first EPs and numeros spin-offs by FSOL's [a=Brian Dougans] and [a40049], such as [a=Humanoid], [a7387], [a30362], [a7383], [a7408], etc.\r\n\r\nSince 1993, Jumpin' & Pumpin' focused on \"various artists\" CD\/LP compilations dedicated to specific genres: Goa & psytrance, techno, drum'n'bass and jungle, Happy Hardcore, ambient-house\/liquid dub. Only a few odd \"solo\" releases came out on J' & P' in the late '90s (for instance, [url=https:\/\/discogs.com\/artist\/18209]Unlimited Dream Co[\/url]).\r\n\r\nIn 2001, coinciding with FSOL\/[a=Amorphous Androgynous] \"comeback,\" the duo returned to Jumpin' & Pumpin' with [i][url=https:\/\/www.discogs.com\/The-Future-Sound-Of-London-Papua-New-Guinea-2001\/master\/6424?filter=true&year=2001]Papua New Guinea 2001[\/url][\/i] 12\"\/CD, [I][r=97753][\/i] 2xCD \"expanded\" reissue, and a brand-new \"redux\" album: [i][m=6611][\/i] CD\/2xLP. Following [b][l=fsoldigital.com][\/b]'s launch in 2007, Jumpin' & Pumpin' produced a few more represses and unreleased collections by FSOL and Humanoid. Since 2009, however, those included only limited-edition, deluxe packages, such as [i]Record Store Day[\/i] exclusives. Jumpin' & Pumpin' appears defunct after 2016.
