Paris-based producer and DJ, Drux, returns to his own Cabale Records this May with his Replicant EP, featuring
\ntwo originals solo cuts, one collaboration with label co-founder Albin Renard plus a remix from Vienna\u2019s Paul

Recent years have seen Paris based DJ and producer Vincent Drux, simply known by his last name, unveil a
\ncollaborative album alongside Jacques Bon on the esteemed Smallville Records, a collaborative track with Bon
\non Lawrence and Carsten Jost\u2019s much loved Dial imprint, a remix on Tiga\u2019s Turbo and of course Cabale Records
\nwhere he returns here following the 2021 launch with the \u2018Transe\u2019 EP.
\nDrux – Replicant EP (Incl. Paul Walter Remix)<\/p>\n
\u2018Pancouff\u2019 opens the EP and sees Drux lay down metallic percussion, swaying low-end tones and crisp hats
\nalongside murky, unfurling atmospherics, hypnotic choir like chants and twitchy synths throughout. \u2018Faire un
\nflot\u2019 follows and weaves together a snaking sub bass groove with shuffled, organic drums, glitched out synths
\nand billowing textures.
\nTitle-cut and Albin Renard collab \u2018Replicant\u2019 opens the flip side, stripping things back to snappy wooden
\npercussion, hypnotising spoken word vocals, ethereal synth swells and a fluttering low-end drive. Vienna\u2019s Paul
\nWalter then rounds out the EP with his \u2018my Stellababy Remix\u2019, extracting the core vibe of the original while
\nstamping his unique mark on things via oscillating drums, choppy vocal cuts and sweeping, airy tones
\nthroughout.<\/p>\n
