\u2018Peradam\u2019 takes as its entry point Ren\u00e9 Daumal\u2019s early 1930s novel \u2018Mount Analogue: a Novel of Symbolically Authentic Non-Euclidean Adventures in Mountain Climbing\u2019, in which the French writer,
\ncritic and poet mapped a metaphysical journey to \u201cthe ultimate symbolic mountain\u201d in search of meaning. In it, Daumal introduced the idea of the \u2018peradam\u2019, a rare, crystalline stone – harbouring
\nprofound truths – that is only visible to seekers on a true spiritual path.<\/p>\n
