Hauptquartier von Cosmic Resonance in Toronto improvisierte Jess (KTA) Anfang Januar 2018 acht Tage lang ununterbrochen. Das Ergebnis war ein Free-Jazz-Synth-Orchester mit Techno-Einfl\u00fcssen, das so facettenreich war, dass es seinen eigenen Reichtum an Nuancen gar nicht zu erkennen vermochte. Langsam wurden die Schichten in KTAs Heimstudio in Parkdale, Ontario, Kanada, abgetragen. Schimmer von diamantbesetzten Synthesizer-Strahlen begannen hinter massiven Bassline-Wolken hervorzulugen. Berge, T\u00e4ler, Fl\u00fcsse, B\u00e4ume und eine ganze Landschaft tauchten auf. Eine Welt wurde entdeckt, und diese Welt ist MAHOGANI FOREST. Jessica Cho (KTA) sorgt seit neun Jahren in der Dance-Music-Szene der Torontoner Innenstadt mit ihren live improvisierten elektronischen Musik-Performances und multimedialen DJ-Sets f\u00fcr Aufsehen. Als klassisch ausgebildete Pianistin mit einem Gesp\u00fcr f\u00fcr Improvisation und das Klanguniversum l\u00e4sst KTA die Tanzfl\u00e4che in den Astralraum \u00fcbergehen. Ihre Klangpalette ist lebendig und farbenpr\u00e4chtig \u2013 eine zeitlose Verschmelzung aus roher, furchtloser Kreativit\u00e4t und Konzentration. Cho hat ihre Vielseitigkeit in Dutzenden von Veranstaltungsorten in Toronto unter Beweis gestellt, wo sie sowohl solo als auch mit dem ehemaligen Live-House-Duo CHOBO auftrat.
