The Neighbourhood Character is a Berlin-based producer / selector, and vocalist hailing from Oakland, CA.

In addition to their collaboration with NYC-based producer Afrikan Sciences as Old Shady Grady & The Neighbourhood Character (OSGATNC), they are the founder and a core member of wood // work collective, a Black-led, intersectional collective conceived with the purpose to create alternative avenues for socio-cultural mobility, professional self-empowerment, and transnational interchange in creative industries.
