Pedro Rufi

Pedro Vian is a Catalan musician, producer, DJ and composer from Barcelona whose work lies at the intersection of electronic music, visual arts, and sonic experimentation. As the founder of the [l678553] label, Vian has developed an artistic approach that transcends traditional genres, embracing a sonic language that blends emotional sensitivity, aesthetic exploration, and philosophical reflection.

Vian’s creativity extends beyond music. With a background in audiovisual design, he has developed multidisciplinary projects that merge music with architecture, contemporary art, and philosophy. He has composed pieces for exhibitions by photographers such as Peter Lindbergh and Steven Meisel, and has collaborated on campaigns for international brands. His research into the relationship between sound and space has been presented in institutional settings such as MACBA (Barcelona) and Het HEM (Amsterdam).

On a collaborative level, Vian has worked with artists including Merzbow, Raül Refree, and Pierre Bastien . His project PRSNT—a reflection on attention and cultural consumption in the digital age—brought together contributors such as Laurie Spiegel, Wolfgang Tillmans and Nobuyoshi Araki. He has performed at major festivals like Sónar, Primavera Sound, and C2C Festival, and has presented his work in Japan, the United States, and across much of Europe.
