Ma Haiping is an electronic music producer based in Shanghai, China, known for fusing Detroit Techno traditions with hypnotic atmospheres and sci-fi aesthetics. He gained international acclaim with his album[rChang'e-4] Chang'e-4 on Jeff Mills Axis, praised by Mills for pushing sonic boundaries while staying true to Techno’s roots. In 2025, he joined Soma Quality Recordings with the release of Earthworm, further establishing his global presence. Since his historic 2013 EP The Chinese Connection on Detroit’s Cratesavers International(founded by Scan 7), Ma has released on respected labels such as Molecular Recordings,Night Vision,scan,Seclusion.
