Seattle’s IVVY, aka Madi Levine (they/them), is a purveyor of tracks for the heaviest dance floors. Squelching synths and dissonant pads shape into a body of disfigured techno with distorted kick drums for a heart. Influenced by a youth spent at renegade warehouse parties in the Midwest, IVVY’s productions and live sets have a relentless energy that infects the body.
Constant touring has earned IVVY features supporting regional and int’l touring DJs and live acts for parties such
as Hot Mass (PGH), Surface Tension (SF), Fine Time (LA), High+Tight (SEA), secondnature (SEA), In Training (PGH), and On Earth (Toronto). They have
taught production and studio management workshops at events such as Kremfest 2019 and ITWxW (hosted by gfx, PGH). Madi is also an organizer of the experimental ambient music festival Ground Hum (SEA).
