American jazz musician and producer, playing piano, organ, keyboards. Born on 1948-07-14 in St. Augustine, Florida (USA). Former husband of Jean Carn with whom he collaborated on a series of early 1970's albums at the Black Jazz Records label. Has worked with Nat Adderley, Earth, Wind & Fire, Shirley Horn, Lou Donaldson, Stanley Turrentine, and Irene Reid. Later changed his name after converting to the Islam religion, becoming Abdul Rahim Ibrahim.
