Département d'Éducation Psychique started as a one-off collaboration between French electroacoustic veteran Jean-Marc Foussat and Dreesvn, a duo of Dynamo Dreesen and SVN/Sven Rieger. After three musicians gave concert at Parisian club La Java in July 2014, they got together at Foussat's home and recorded their debut improvised album, [m=946381] LP, released on Dreesen's Acido Records. Two years later, DEP resurfaced with a follow-up album, [r=9499239] 2xLP on Foussat's Fou Records, recorded live February 2016 at Ohm club in Berlin.
