Anthony Pearson

Chez Damier aka Anthony Pearson (born August 15, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois, USA) is an American DJ and producer known for his influential role in the development of deep house music. He co-founded the seminal label Prescription Records in 1993 with Ron Trent. Prior to that, he was the A&R man and studio manager at KMS Records (1989–1992), working closely with Kevin Saunderson. In the mid-1990s, he also held an A&R position at the French electronic music label Distance. Damier has released numerous 12" records that have become staples of classic house music and is recognized for his contributions to the Detroit and Chicago house scenes.
