With a living, breathing musical heritage, Aleqs Notal has dedicated himself to refining a sound that embodies this vision with precision and depth. Inspired by the early years of House and Techno from Detroit, Chicago and New York, the sound that defines him reflects his fascination for the
sharpest percussions and timeless atmospheres.

Having started DJing in 99, Notal took his time to prominence, showcasing his talent in Turntablism DJ competitions and composing for international labels. In 2020, he launched his own label I.L. Recordings, solidifying his imprint on the world of underground electronic music.
His musical journey has been characterized by a relentless pursuit of exploration, from his raw yet lunar deep sound on ClekClekBoom Recordings to the soulful EP on Patrice Scott’s Sistrum from Detroit, his international acclaim soared with the “Paris Lagos Soundscapes“ recorded in Nigeria or "Big Tal’s Elements" on Benji B’s One Level from UK, affirming his position on the worldwide stage.

With releases on labels like Forbidden Dance, Visions or Salon Recordings from Los Angeles, he keep pushing boundaries, captivating audiences with his impecable technique behind decks and deep raw and funky sounds.
