On Biotope, Valentino Mora ventures further from the dancefloor into a psychoacoustic realm using modular and spectral synthesis, mainly with the Rossum Panharmonium. The album forms a sound ecosystem with harmonic clusters mimicking organic life, without field recordings. Inspired by elements like soil, air, and temperature, the music emerges as a sonic biology. It features slow-moving, tension-laden compositions that blend sensation and design, aiming to be felt as much as heard, inviting listeners to experience with their skin.
