Nightfire

Right on time once again, the fifth outing on Punctuality welcomes Irish producer Drua to the fore. This release draws influence from late 90s and early 2000s dance music with a modern production aesthetic, engineered for big rigs and sweaty dancefloors. Nightfire is a fully realised vision of Drua’s sound described best as contemporary hard house with punchy basslines, vibrant stabs, sultry vocals, undulating rhythms and club sparks. The EP features tracks like ‘UP’, a nouveau handbag styled track ready for festivals, and ‘Job 2.3’, a Punctuality anthem with skippy bass and catchy vocal hooks. On the flip, ‘Nightfire’ nods to classic deep house, while ‘Arch In Ur Back’ concludes with elements perfect for the dancefloor. An all killer no filler EP from Drua.
