Recoil is the musical project of former Depeche Mode member Alan Wilder. Mute is re-releasing the last three Recoil albums Liquid, Unsound Methods and subHuman on 7 October, each on CD and coloured double vinyl. Originally a solo project for Alan’s experimental work outside of Depeche Mode, Recoil became his main musical project after he announced his departure from the band in 1995. Liquid, released in 2000, has a hypnotic allure fuelled by an intense web of desire, rage and violence. An extraordinary work that drills into the psyche.
