After founding record label Pixel as the latest Carpet sub imprint, Sasha Pervukhin debuts on the main Carpet & Snares catalogue with four house tracks. All tunes were recorded in Montmartre, Paris during some hard times on Sasha’s personal journey – so sometimes tough times can give us beautiful music… From the bump of Chicago to skippy breaks, from the stargazing of second-wave Detroit to a bit of New York swagger, the versatile Ukrainian producer puts his heart, emotions and musical understanding on to the vinyl; prompting smiles and shapes on the dancefloor.
