2024 repress! Blue Hour Music welcomes French artist Mathys Lenne for his debut EP as ‘The Scan’ – his go to alias for classic techno. Titled ‘Callgroove’ the record features four functional and highly seductive DJ tools aimed at darkly-lit dance floors. Each track is stripped to its essential layers, holding its own unique tension with hints of pre-pandemic club moments, lead by bold rhythmic groove manipulation, classic drum programming and immersive atmospherics.
