It’s an utterly heads down, eyes forward affair that kicks off the new Doo EP. Doctors Pepper is a superb collaborative project, and they craft a perfectly distilled minimal techno groove so deep it almost disappears out of sight. Fashion then steps up with ‘U Mind’, which is just as barely-there, but with a more eerie lead and icy pads. It’s heady tackle to get you in a trance. Last of all, Fashion enlists Eggman & DJ Spence to feature on ‘Blown’, which is a creeping, stuttering bass tune with cavernous beats and late night mischief in the impish synth spirits.
