Stunning release from Anthony Naples on Trilogy Tapes, his third for the label. ‘Lekker’ is the almost 9-minute epic that sits somewhere between electronic funk, house and techno (or ‘slo-mo’ house as referred by one online site?). Its a subtle track that slowly weaves its charm the longer it is on, whilst ‘Momentos Magicos’ on the flip has a Belgian nu-beatesque bassline and a flute reminiscent of ‘The Morning After’ (Fallout) in its melancholic, string-laden 10 and a half minutes!
